Four Las Vegas Eateries Make Trip Advisor List for Top US Restaurants

Las Vegas has been known for over 60 years as the place for people to go if they want to gamble. In the early days, the focus was on gambling. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the focus in Las Vegas was on the beauty of the hotels, and the luxuriousness of the stay. The amenities at the casino resorts were important.

However, Las Vegas continues to try and cater to younger people, especially when it comes to millennials. In an effort to attract younger tourists, Vegas have ramped up their offerings in the food and beverage department. Because the area has grown into a place for foods and beverages, it is no real surprise that four of Las Vegas’ many restaurants have made Trip Advisor’s list of the best restaurants in the United States.

Trip Advisor

Trip AdvisorTrip Advisor began at the turn of the century as a way for people to share reviews of local hotels. Rather than guidebook reviews, the website relies on reviews from people who have stayed at the establishment. The website has grown into a vacation booking site, as well as a restaurant and hotel review site. Visitors are able to see hotel reviews from all over the world, and the website aggregates the reviews so that customers can see and read all the reviews from other customers.

Trip Advisor releases a yearly review of hotels and restaurants in the United States, as well as all over the world. The yearly reviews are based on an algorithm that looks at all of the reviews for a 12-month calendar period.

Mon Ami Gabi

Mon Ami Gabi was listed as number two out of the top 10 restaurants for everyday dining, according to the rating website. This category is for restaurants, which provide a dining experience for people who are looking for a nice dining location without a casual atmosphere. Mon Ami Gabi is billed as a French bistro. The restaurant bakes fresh bread daily. One of its specialties is the Onion Soup Au Gratin. Chicken Grandmere and Steak Frites are also popular. Customers are able to select wines from a rolling cart. Desserts are very popular at the restaurant, including Chocolate Mousse or Profiteroles.

The Earl of Sandwich and Tacos el Gordo

Earl of SandwichBoth of these restaurants were ranked in the top 10 for casual dining restaurants. The Earl of Sandwich has soups and salads. Customers rave about the variety of sandwiches and wraps available. The tuna melt has won amazing reviews from customers as well. Because many of the stores are open 24 hours a day, they are perfect for gamblers who need a late night snack, or an early morning snack.

Like the Earl of Sandwich, Tacos El Gordo is a franchise. The family-owned restaurants offer Tijuana-style tacos, which means that the corn tortillas are soft and made by hand. In addition, the establishment has a top-shelf meets and a variety of homemade salsas. Customers gave the restaurants great reviews for the freshness of their tacos, and their homemade guacamole.

Le Cirque

In fine dining, Le Cirque was ranked number 11 out of 20. The restaurant, located at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino Resort, is reminiscent of a French ballroom, which is the look the place was going for. The restaurant features a five-course French meal that has earned it Five Diamonds from AAA and Five Stars from Forbes. Customers loved the quality of service and the knowledgeable staff. The lobster salad was a favorite choice, as was the sea bass. The desserts, such as the chocolate sphere, is not to be missed.

Las Vegas hasn’t been known for the quality of its food—but perhaps it should be.
